Gmail Brief is a personal tool made by EyeWerks Group and used only by its owner.
With the owner's permission, Gmail Brief uses read-only Gmail access (the gmail.readonly scope) to read the owner's unread messages and their attachments.
The messages are summarized into a briefing by an AI model that runs on the owner's own computer. The data is used only to produce that briefing for the owner.
Briefings and the Google sign-in token are stored only on the owner's computer. Gmail Brief does not keep copies of email on any outside server.
Gmail Brief does not sell, share, or transfer Google user data to anyone. It does not use the data for advertising, and it does not use the data to train AI models.
Gmail Brief's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the local files removes all stored data.
